To address the most critical needs of our clients, RSM US LLP established the Security and Privacy Services group, comprised of more than 300 professionals dedicated exclusively to serving the cybersecurity needs of our clients. This group includes experienced consultants located throughout the United States, Canada, El Salvador, and India dedicated to helping clients with preventing, detecting, responding, and recovering to security threats that may affect their critical systems and data. We serve a diverse client base within a variety of industries, and we are relied upon to provide expertise across the full suite of security and privacy capabilities including managing the daily activities associated with our clients' security operations.

We are seeking individuals with excellent organizational and execution skills to successfully transition clients from a sales phase to steady state operational readiness. Successful candidates will have solid working knowledge of project management fundamentals, Managed Security Service goals and outcomes, and strong interpersonal skills.

As a lead professional within the Managed Security Services practice, the successful Onboarding Specialist will work in a small, focused team to manage multiple concurrent onboarding efforts. The candidate will execute against well-defined onboarding processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have between 1-3 years of experience with the following critical tasks:

  • Guiding clients from contract signature through successful onboarding to a live service state
  • Validating completion of all sales process activities including conflict checks, contract approvals, and pricing model validity
  • Gathering and validating project requirements against contracted services and service levels
  • Capturing relevant technical and environmental information necessary for RSMD engineering and operational teams to perform onboarding tasks
  • Coordinating complex technical activities across various operational teams and service components
  • Identifying and resolving issues barring successful onboarding by working with necessary technical groups within and outside of the RSM Defense group
  • Hosting client kickoff calls, leading onboarding touchpoints and status calls, and operating as the primary point of contact for clients during the OB period
  • Managing OB project plans and documentation, and updating reporting mechanisms to inform clients, RSMD leadership, and broader leadership of overall onboarding status (individual client and overall portfolio levels)
  • Performing handoff of client responsibility and communications to an RSMD Service Delivery Manager, thereby successfully transitioning from OB to steady state
  • Tracking financial impacts of OB activities including impact to service revenue streams
  • Maintaining and improving process documentation in accordance with RSMD standards and practices
  • Managing project renewals and significant change orders to ensure continuity of service, including managing firm administrative requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 1-3 years of related work experience, specifically 1+ year of experience in a project management or service management capacity
  • Proven experience leading client communications and critical client facing meetings
  • Experience using the ServiceNow suite for task management and progress tracking
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organizational levels
  • Excellent project management, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Experience with the following platforms is preferred:

  • Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams
  • Common cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • ServiceNow
  • Smart Sheets

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $63,800 - $105,600

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
