We are looking for a Medical Affairs Specialist Rheumatology who is proficient at managing multiple projects, with agility while also being highly efficient and detail oriented to join us on our Rheumatology Medical Affairs team, based in our Smyrna, GA Office.

About the role

You will be responsible for the project management of the activities of the Rheumatology Medical Affairs team, including strategic medical plans and budget, congress activities, , external HCP engagement, medical communications, and planning & execution of special projects.

Who you'll work with

You will report to the Senior Medical Solutions Lead - Rheumatology and support the Rheumatology Medical Affairs team with the management of strategic medical plans including Field Medical resource allocation

What you'll do

  • Serve as the project manager to track performance against departmental goals

  • Work with Medical leadership to prepare for internal and external meetings and support execution of meeting deliverables

  • Scheduling and tracking of agenda items, supporting presentation development, tracking of completion

of action items

  • Manage activities associated with Medical Affairs vendor agencies for key deliverables

  • Manage outputs from relevant Medical Affairs activities

  • Proactively seek relevant insights that can support strategic planning via engagement at congresses,

participation in internal trainings, and independent review of the literature

  • Support the development of scientific resources and materials associated with departmental initiatives

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify and improve best practices across departmental functions

  • Support maintenance of online medical portals (Source Clear, Veeva CRM, SharePoint, Teams)

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree (MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred.

  • Minimum of one year of medical affairs experience, including relevant post-doctoral fellowships, in the pharmaceutical

industry preferred. Will consider candidates with PharmD or therapeutically relevant Ph.D., without prior

industry experience.

  • Possess a general understanding of the drug development process and clinical trials.

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is 100,000 to 135,000 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
