Job Summary

Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a visionary leader as for a Senior Vice President of Operations!
Are you a dynamic, results-driven leader ready to make a significant impact? Chartwells Higher Education is searching for a Senior Vice President of Operations to join our executive team and oversee the Pacific Northwest and part of the Southwestern Region.

This high-profile, remote leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to influence and drive operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of accounts. While remote, the ideal candidate resides in one of these territories and is ready to embrace extensive travel to connect with teams, clients, and stakeholders.

What You'll Do:
As a critical member of our leadership team, you will:
Lead with Vision: Set strategic direction, develop priorities, and guide the operational success of the region.
Drive Excellence: Achieve financial and operational goals while upholding the highest standards of quality and service.
Foster Growth: Spearhead business development efforts, acquire new accounts, and expand existing relationships.
Inspire Teams: Build and empower high-performing management teams through mentorship, training, and continuous development.
Collaborate for Impact: Work alongside senior leaders to implement innovative programs that align with client needs and customer satisfaction.
Ensure Accountability: Oversee budgeting and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and compliance standards.

Job Qualifications:
Proven ability to manage a team of six or more director level or above team members
Higher Education experience in contract food services strongly preferred - contract food service experience a must
Minimum of five (5) years' experience leading multi-unit foodservice accounts with a combined managed volume of greater than $200 million
Ability to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence at an Executive level; excellent presentation skills also at an Executive level
Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced Fee and/or P&L driven environment
Sound judgment; ability to make timely decisions
