About this opportunity
The business analyst is responsible for understanding the needs and identifying solutions to business problems. This person will work with various stakeholders, such as management, IT teams, sales and marketing, S&OP and finance to provide actionable insights to drive performance and revenue growth (using data to create meaningful strategies).
What you will do
- Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Building and monitoring related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes.
- In-depth business understanding and the ability to defining requirements, using data and metrics to draw business insights.
- Ensure customer data and sales representative mapping integrity on all sales related data systems (Qlikview BI, Qliksense, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms)
- Support sales related system implementations and improvement projects
- Manage and develop standardized and customer reports to analyze sales, forecasts, and budgets along with other ad hoc reports
- Use historical data and market trends to assist in forecasting sales performance and setting realistic goals
- Lead special projects related to sales and marketing to help improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Create, maintain and update statistical models and data in the forecasting system. Validate the history and model assumptions and review and manage statistical model exceptions
- Own product portfolio performance and perform ongoing analysis and monitoring of actual performance to forecasted plan, identify significant variances, take corrective actions, and document key assumptions
- Ability to translate discussions with sales to forecasts and discussions during S&OP meetings
- Other duties as assigned
What you have to offer
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated appreciation for the value of attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently with the ability to resolve inconsistencies and problems and deliver results with a limited amount of supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with firm deadlines.
- Proficient Communication, MS Excel and Data analysis skills required.
- Understanding and use of Salesforce a plus.
- IT technical proficiency and process modeling
- Project management skills
- Proficient stakeholder management skills

- Estimated compensation $70,000-80,000 based off education and experience.
- Grade P06, Bonus STIP Plan 7.5%
