Executive Service SPECIAL PROJECTS AUDITOR AND INVESTIGATOR Department of Health Compliance and Ethics Nashville, TN Salary Range: $5,591.00 - $8,915.00 monthly Closing Date: 02/10/2025This position is approximately 80% REMOTE. Who we are and what we do: The Department of Health (TDH) serves the public health needs for the people of Tennessee, including primary and preventative care through rural county health departments and our external partners, health licensure and regulation for all healthcare professionals, emergency preparedness, and research and prevention of communicable diseases. The Office of Compliance and Ethics for TDH performs internal audits, grant monitoring, internal affairs investigations, and processes complaints and investigations related to privacy and civil rights issues. How you make a difference in this role: Compliance and Ethics is seeking an experienced auditor and investigator that will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, to perform special project high profile audits, reviews and investigations, while partnering with existing teams in the areas of internal audit, internal affairs, privacy, and civil rights.
