Summary of Position Kinsley is seeking personnel Foremen for our growing Site Crews in North East, MD. Successful candidates should possess a willingness to learn, have a good work ethic, and a positive attitude. Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.
- Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Responsible for the production process
- Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment to complete the job.
- Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required for the foreman position.
- Possess a knowledge of GPS systems.
- Ability to follow and enforce all correct safety procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience is required for the equipment operator position.
- Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Must be comfortable performing various manual tasks for extended periods, sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and movement of the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
