The Team

The Custom Application Solutions Team amplifies SIE employee experiences with fully supported and iteratively improved IT solutions. Our tenet focuses on understanding our employees and business needs with patience, as well as delivering integrated experiences using exciting innovation through outstanding products.

The team consists of analysts, developers, QA testers, data engineers and systems administrators. Together, we deliver, sustain, and enhance IT enterprise products such as ServiceNow and other custom business applications built on the SaaS/PaaS platform. Our solutions boost productivity and help teams work together more efficiently across all departments worldwide.

The Role

We are looking for a Sr IT Programmer Analyst that is passionate about delivering high-quality user experiences to our internal user community through solution design and implementation.

This role will provide hands on development expertise to build applications and solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. You will work with our SIE partners and application users to understand their use cases and implement solutions and features as per their requirements. Collaborating with product (Scrum) teams to craft and deliver new features on existing products to support users' outstanding business needs, and you will evaluate new products to be introduced to the IT enterprise as needed.

Responsibilities



  • Build solutions using high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by implementing standard methodologies around software engineering, architecture, and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)





  • Effectively handle and prioritize multiple development efforts concurrently with minimal direction.





  • Collaborate day-to-day with team of developers, product owners and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.





  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees.





  • Advise business decisions concerning similar applications using data-driven, candid methods to evaluate them and provide recommendations





  • Stay informed of new and upcoming product offerings and recommend new and improved user experiences for product roadmaps





  • Work with vendors and/or external parties to support implementation of new solutions as needed





  • Partner with Security, Legal and other business teams to ensure current and new application solutions are aligned with company regulations and policies





  • Adopt flexible working hours to support global business operations, initiatives, and on-call duties



Required Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.





  • Minimum 7-10 years of related work experience developing with the HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, or Angular JS on ServiceNow applications including ITSM, HRSD, SPM, CMDB





  • Experience with integrating ServiceNow with external applications via REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc





  • Experience building custom applications required





  • Experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for ServiceNow





  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification required





  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification required





  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills





  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies



Soft Skills



  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse collaborators and team members





  • Demonstrable experience in working independently in an organized, methodical, and diligent environment required





  • Able to cultivate a positive, constructive relationship with internal business partners as well as vendors, executives and IT leaders and personnel in onshore/offshore teams

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$172,100 $258,100 USD
