NI Fixed Networks Customer Engineer Tier 2/3 and Partners

We're seeking a talented NI Fixed Networks Customer Engineer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of communication networks. You'll be responsible for designing, analyzing, and planning network components, developing performance criteria, and conducting feasibility studies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our networks meet the evolving needs of our customers. • Analysis & High Level Design involving Solution Definition, Requirements Development, Architecture and High-Level Design
• Network Deployment Detailed Design involving developing configuration templates, including IP addressing, VLAN, Capacity, and QoS plans
• Network Element Integration including performing software updates, establishing and validating connectivity to network and element management system, testing alarms, timing and synchronization, and services
• Troubleshooting involving taking logs and captures to determine the root cause of customer production network issues.
  
  

You have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and at least 5 years of practical work experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience configuring, provisioning or troubleshooting Access Technologies (XGS-PON, SDAN) using CLI or GUI on the devices.
• Solid communication and technical presentation skills with the ability to influence engineers, customers and executives to become advocates of Nokia products and solutions.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience troubleshooting and testing Altiplano & 7360 ISAM functions and services.
• Knowledge of NETCONF / YANG
• Knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 IP protocols, MPLS
• Network engineering and network design experience
• Demonstrated customer relationship management skills
