Job Summary: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the supply chain to support large Air Force programs. This role assists in planning, organizing, and overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that the right products are available at the right time Analyze and report on supply chain performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely procurement of materials Help resolve any supply chain issues or disruptions, working closely with stakeholders to find solutions Maintain and update supply chain documentation, including tracking orders, invoices, and shipping reports Assist in managing relationships with suppliers and logistics providers Provide support in forecasting demand and planning inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking Participate in regular meetings with senior supply chain managers to discuss performance, goals, and areas for improvement Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 5-7 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations role (internships or entry-level experience considered) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and supply chain software (e.g., ERP systems) Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management practices is a plus Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar) is a plus Experience with inventory management software and forecasting tools Security Clearance: Eligible for or current security clearance (preferred but not required) Work Environment: Office-based with occasional travel for supplier or warehouse visits Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling high volumes of tasks
