Step into a role as Provider AR Specialist at Bright Horizons, where you will be providing customer service when answering Client Employee Billing phone line, process adjustments, manage collections payments, assist Contact Center leadership with billing questions and procedures, and process provider invoices.

This is a hybrid role in our Westminster, CO office.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial stewardship: protecting the organization's financials with commitment to moral, ethical and prudent financial decision-making

  • Responsible for answering client employee billing phone line, answering questions and resolving payment/billing disputes

  • Responsible for answering questions directed to Employee Billing Inbox

  • Responsible for ACH Returns, Chargebacks and billing adjustments

  • Assist with Corporate bank reconciliation

  • Research systematic discrepancies and understand how to resolve them

  • Respond to all Level II Billing Inquiries

  • Responsible for OneSupport tickets including resolution.

  • Distinguish between In House collections and Third Party Collections and manage appropriately; manage difficult conversations with impacted client employees

  • Assist Contact Center leadership and Level II Help Desk with Employee billing questions

  • Provide coaching for Contact Center Consultants regarding proper escalation procedures for billing issues

  • Work cooperatively with internal partners to resolve billing and systematic issues; Program, Contact Center, Operations, Corporate & IT

  • Analyze & Audit invoices received from back-up care Extended Network Providers; authorize or deny payment based on contractual requirements.

  • Reduce Cost of Goods Sold; prepare and send Invoice Adjustment Forms for non-authorized charges

  • Other projects and responsibilities as designated by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable speaking to external Providers as well as internal team members

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to work within very tight deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze multiple sources of information

  • General Accounting/Math skills

  • Vendor relationship skills

  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications

  • General experience working in accounting software preferred

  • Ability to learn internal software/database

  • High school diploma or GED required, AA degree preferred

  • Previous Accounts Receivable/Payable experience preferred

  • 2-5 years of customer service experience preferred

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The hourly starting salary for this position is between $20.10 - 20.19 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors
