THE JOB: It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Butler at The Cosmopolitan to provide exceptional service to guests in personal butler, valet and amenity services.
THE STARTING RATE: $19 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Assist Butlers in delivering prompt and thorough guest services, including serving meals, snacks, tea, hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and other food and beverage items, as well as cleaning up after service. Provide support with personal services such as haircutting and styling, manicures, massages, and other guest requests. Remain readily available during assigned shifts to promptly respond to guest needs. Prepare and deliver orders to the assigned Butler, ensuring the kitchen workspace remains clean and organized. Maintain the Butler's pantry and all other designated areas in a neat, orderly, and service-ready condition. Report any deficiencies or safety hazards to the Supervisor and assist in coordinating corrective actions. Identify and resolve any service standard flaws before delivering service to guests. Support Butlers in anticipating guest needs, offering proactive and collaborative assistance to ensure seamless service delivery.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
3+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a food server, bus person or food runner. Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Experience in luxury resorts or private estates. Household Management training, Full-Service Restaurant Server training and Bartending training. Knowledgeable in all basics of food, beverage and personal valet services. Bilingual.
