Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of environmental services operations within the organization. They develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, promote sustainability, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions: -Develop and implement an environmental services strategy that aligns with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. -Oversee all aspects of environmental services operations, including cleaning, waste management, recycling, sustainability initiatives, and general maintenance. -Manage and provide leadership to a team of environmental services supervisors and staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development. -Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies in all environmental services activities. -Develop and implement standard operating procedures, guidelines, and training programs to ensure consistent and efficient environmental services operations across multiple locations or facilities. -Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to manage vendor contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and services related to environmental services. -Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and green cleaning practices, to minimize the environmental impact of operations.
