Responsibilities

The candidate would be responsible for improving existing EHS&S systems and create new documentation that drives EHS&S excellence,

including but not limited to:

    Environmental areas - air, water, and waste management
  • Health and Safety areas - LOTO, Confined Space, Machine Safeguarding, and Walking-Working Surfaces
  • Hazardous Material areas - transportation, storage, and removal.
  • Research and evaluate evolving EHS&S changes and develop processes to alert sites of relevant changes or additions.
  • Work with manufacturing, distribution, administrative, and engineering groups to implement EHS&S systems


Qualifications

  • Student currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, with a background in environmental science, safety, industrial hygiene, or related STEM fields.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of basic federal, state, and local environmental, safety & health regulations.
