Inventory Management Specialist

Currently, we're excited to offer an opportunity for an Inventory Management Specialist to join our partner company in Cambridge, MA. Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay: $25/hr

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory control for consumables, chemicals, and samples.
• Conduct cycle counts, monitor slow-moving inventory, and prepare reports.
• Handle backorders, expedite shipments, and manage customer communication.
• Process quotes, resolve pricing/invoice issues, and maintain order entries.
• Ensure accurate shipping documentation, especially for hazardous materials.
• Use SAP and other inventory systems to maintain accuracy and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in inventory or customer service.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with shipping, inventory management, and safety protocols.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of scientific products and certifications (IATA, DOT, OSHA) is a plus.
