Georgia Pacific, Monticello facility is in the process of finding and hiring a "Contract Coordinator". This is a salaried position that is a member of Monticello's maintenance team and reports to the maintenance leader for the mill. The job description below provides a high-level view of job activities, the basic requirements for the role and what will put you ahead in the selection process.

Our Team

Georgia-Pacific Monticello is a fully integrated containerboard mill that employs 450 employees and continues to benefit from extensive capital investment. This position is an opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding organization with tremendous growth potential. Monticello, Mississippi, is an hour South of Jackson, MS, and an hour Northwest of Hattiesburg, MS.

What You Will Do

* Serve as primary coordinator for nested contractor crews on site. Nested crews will included asbestos abatement, insulation work, general painting, and others as specified.

* Manages and prioritizes work of contractor crews to support overall mill requirements.

* Writes Scopes of Work (SOW) and contract requisitions for annual contracts.

* Reviews annual contract SOWs to identify value opportunities.

* Manages nest contractor overtime requirements.

* Work with area leadership, planners, and operations-maintenance gatekeepers to create nested contractor work schedules in Monticello's CMMS.

* Interfaces with maintenance and production teams to create weekly contractor schedules in the CMMS.

* Monitors contractor schedule adherence and attainment and coordinates with security to control weekly contractor access based upon scheduled work.

* Provide technical expertise and support to support contractor actions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Associates degree in technical maintenance fields OR 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, oil & energy, or military environment

* Working knowledge of writing contractor SOWs and requisitions.

* Experience supervising contractor requirements in an industrial environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

* Experience in managing a contractor program in an industrial setting.

* Experience using CMMS systems with particular preference towards Asset Suite.
