Supporting the Idea to Retire (I2R) Digital Transformation (DT) workstream, the I2R Training Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and managing training programs within the workstream. This role involves working closely with transformational change management (TCM) and functional teams to ensure that employees receive the necessary training to perform their jobs effectively while adopting new ways of working. The Training Coordinator is responsible for tracking training outcomes and ensuring that training programs align with I2R goals and objectives.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with TCM and I2R to align on global training needs and methods by which training content will be created to support the needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions. This may include arranging venues, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist trainers and facilitators with the preparation and delivery of training programs, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
  • Manage training registrations, attendance, and feedback, ensuring that all participants are informed and prepared for their training sessions.
  • Maintain and update training materials, ensuring they are current and relevant.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, completion rates, and feedback.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports on training outcomes and metrics.
  • Work closely with Change Management, TCM, I2R, and other DT workstreams, and Organizational Learning and Development to ensure alignment and support for training initiatives.
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or a related field with a minimum of 8+ years related experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years experience; or a PhD with 3+ years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in coordinating training programs or similar coordination roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working in complex product development environments with technical teams, such as engineering and advanced research and development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Comfortable with and adaptable to ambiguity and complexity in a matrixed organization.
  • Able to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries and leadership levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Service-driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Located within 50 miles of the Tualatin, Oregon (US) location and able to travel within the US, up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and digital adoption platforms (DAP).
  • Varied or non-traditional backgrounds are a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
