Location: This position can be worked out of any of StandardAero's US facilities.

StandardAero is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Internal Communications to lead and enhance our global employee communications. This role will play a pivotal part in driving employee engagement, leadership alignment, and cultural connectivity as StandardAero continues its rapid growth and transition to a publicly traded organization.

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Director will develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy, ensuring messaging is clear, impactful, and aligned with StandardAero's business objectives. This individual will work closely with Senior Leadership, Human Resources, and the Marketing & Communications team to foster a strong, informed, and connected workforce.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute a global internal communications strategy that enhances transparency, alignment, and employee engagement.
  • Create compelling executive communications, including CEO messages, leadership updates, Quarterly Business Reviews, organizational announcements, and employee video scripts.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to craft messaging for Quarterly Senior Leadership Team meetings and other executive forums.
  • Lead internal communications for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with external messaging.
  • Oversee internal crisis communications, collaborating with Marketing & Communications on external responses, as needed.
  • Provide speechwriting and talking points for Executive Leadership Team members to support both internal and external engagements.
  • Drive editorial strategy and manage content for the company-wide intranet (SkyHub), ensuring engaging and timely updates.
  • Support site General Managers by equipping them with tools and best practices for effective employee communication.
  • Strengthen HR communications, including recruitment branding, internal social media content, employee benefits updates, and engagement initiatives.
  • Lead strategic internal campaigns in collaboration with key stakeholders, including:

    • Monthly Life Preserving Standards messaging
    • Bi-monthly Stop for Safety updates
    • Sustainability and GreenERmro initiatives
    • Annual Corporate Sustainability Report
    • Quarterly and annual True Blue Continuous Improvement program communications

  • Measure effectiveness of internal communications through employee engagement data and feedback mechanisms, ensuring continuous improvement.


Qualifications & Experience:

We are looking for a collaborative, strategic, and results-driven communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.



  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, internal social media, digital collaboration tools).
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to handle complex and sensitive communications with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter mindset, comfortable working independently and taking initiative.


Preferred Characteristics:



  • Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry is a plus but not required.
