Facilities Maintenance Lead Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
- Ensures that all shop team members utilize appropriate safety precautions outlined in departmental policies and governmental standards.
- Identifies and documents the justification of resources to accomplish the shop's mission.
- Acts as a mentor to shop team members in matters of compensation, work assignments, working conditions and other complaints/problems.
- Establishes performance standards and expectations while providing effective coaching to meet those standards.
- Provides continuous feedback on team member performance/produces a written annual performance appraisal within 14 days of the due date.
- Documents disciplinary measures by following the Human Resources positive disciplinary system.
- Ensures all documentation related to work orders is received and recorded in the CMMS system.
- Inspects the campus to develop a tabulation of hazardous deficiencies addressing emergency power, fire alarm, nurse call, life safety, physical plant, construction and maintenance issues requiring correction.
- May perform additional duties as assigned
Facilities Maintenance Lead Additional Requirements:
- Work schedule: Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 5 years of project management or applicable/related experience with one year in a supervisory role
