Summary of Position Teladoc Health is seeking candidates for a Senior Human Resources professional to lead our Global Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) team. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Vice President will lead and oversee the HRBP function across multiple countries and regions on a global scale, and across 4 distinct Business Units (USGH, HHS, BetterHelp, International). The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting the Enterprise Global strategy to develop, execute and drive the HR strategy and initiatives. The Global HRBP leader will also provide strategic leadership, collaboration with regional HR and COE teams, and work closely with the C-suite and Senior management to optimize HR practices globally. The role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of global HR practices, and the ability to navigate complex international HR landscapes. As the leader of the Global Human Resource Business Partner function, a successful candidate will set the strategy and team priorities, maintain strong team cohesion and collaboration, maintain team engagement, coach and develop team members, and assume performance management responsibilities for the team. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the global human resources strategy aligned with overall business goals and objectives. Business Partnership: Appreciate the complexity and uniqueness of our business. Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and provide HR insights to drive organizational effectiveness. Global Team Management: Oversee and lead a team of Human Resource Business Partners and Generalists across various regions, ensuring consistent HR support and alignment with global strategy, all while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Talent Management: Drive global talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development programs. Employee Engagement: Collaborate with regional HR teams and COEs to develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction on a global scale. Change Management: Lead HR initiatives related to organizational change, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic shifts. Partner cross-functionally across Corporate Services and other business lines of service to understand priorities and objectives to enable adoption across the enterprise. Performance Management: Implement and oversee global performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Global HR Policies: Develop and maintain standardized HR policies that comply with local regulations while aligning with the organization's global values. People and Culture: Drive people and culture initiatives to foster a global workplace that values and respects differences. HR Analytics: Develop utilize key HR data and analytics to assess HR metrics and effectiveness to inform process harmonization and decision-making at the global level. Compliance: Remain current on global compliance with employment laws and regulations, adapting policies as needed to meet regional requirements. Employee Relations: Partner with HRBPs and Legal to manage complex employee relations issues and provide guidance to HR teams globally. Learning and Development: Oversee the design and implementation of global learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Budget Management: Manage the HRBP budget for global initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals. Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among HR teams across different regions to share best practices and ensure consistency.
What You Will Need:
15+ years of HR Business Partner or related business experience with multi-discipline and global experiences within HR. Prior experience serving as an HR partner to a variety of functional and geographic areas. Experience working across countries with diverse cultures and employment practices. Ability to influence and build credibility at all levels and establish collaborative working relationships. Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex, decentralized and geographically diverse organizational structure. Exceptional organizational development/effectiveness skills (i.e. change management, coaching, organizational diagnostics, leadership team effectiveness, culture). Ability to determine and ensure compliance with all local and national laws and regulations. History of working within global organizations as a consultative HR leader. Proficient computer skills - especially Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Workday HCM systems. Fluency in English required. Superior communications skills, oral and written. Ability to travel as needed, estimated to be about 25%.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
HR Certification, including CIPD, PHR, SPHR and GPHR Experience with mergers & acquisitions as well as integration of different methodologies.
Additional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described. The base salary range for this position is$200,000 - $280,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here:Teladoc Health Benefits 2025.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
