LPN - Med/Surg 2B - Full Time Days - Jefferson Abington Hospital

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direct supervision of a professional nurse (RN) provide nursing care within their scope of practice.
  • Perform appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients.
  • Works cooperatively with health care team members to maintain established standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of state-approved School of Practical Nursing required.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of pharmacology demonstrated by successful completion of medical administration test.
  • Successful completion of state-approved Intravenous Therapy certification course.
  • Current license (PA) or permit to practice from PA State Board of Nursing.
