Tessera is seeking a detailed and organized Project Coordinator with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for preparing information, drawings, plans and specifications to complete construction and repair projects. Prepare opinion of cost estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors. Manage projects as assigned and utilize the Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System. Confer with engineers, architects, customers, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates. Consult with clients, vendors, and/or foremen to discuss and formulate opinion of cost estimates, scopes of work and resolve issues. Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing and scheduling work. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project. Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, and track actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components. Develop and implement maintenance programs for complex systems. Develop and implement technical training programs for operators and maintenance personnel. Monitor operations and maintenance of complex systems to ensure proper operations/maintenance. Perform life cycle and energy analysis for various facilities, systems and components.
Qualifications:
Five years of engineering or project management experience preferred. Must be familiar with general contracting, cost estimates, bid proposals, shop drawings, and CAD/GPS. Must be detail oriented and have time management and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
