Hill International is seeking a Contract Manager in Los Angeles, California



  • Supporting Contracting Officer with negotiations and approval of change orders, task orders, contract work orders, and contract modifications in coordination with Vendor Contract Management department, PDB Contractor, and Project team.
  • Meeting with internal and external clients to anticipate requirements.
  • Supporting Contracting Officer with RFCs from the CMGC Contractor, acting as chairperson on merit evaluation team, and preparing responses.
  • Preparing various letters and notices.
  • Participating in initial and regular contractor and consultant conferences and meetings.
  • Supporting contract management activities after award.
  • Liaising with client vendors and internal clients.
  • Maintaining all contract, change order, and contract modification records.
  • Attending progress meetings to review Contract issues, set payment schedules, and make adjustments to contract administration.
  • Attending fact finding meetings with Project staff and contractors and assist with scope/cost and schedule proposal analysis.
  • Monitoring contract compliance.
  • Preparing monthly status reports, summaries, and other correspondence at the direction of Contracting Officer.
  • Briefing management on assigned projects and giving oral presentations as applicable.
  • Coordinating interface with Project Controls staff and Program Management Information Systems, including Unifier.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with construction contracts and contracting procedures.
  • Approximately five to ten (5-10) years' of relevant experience performing complex contract administration work including preparation/review of contract changes and claims for publicly-funded transit industry construction.
  • Experience in Unifier is preferred.
  • Must be willing to work on site at client office in Downtown Los Angeles 5 days a week.


The salary range for this position is $160,000-$215,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
