Shift: Fri-Mon, 7AM - 4:30PM

JOB SUMMARY

Operating internal print devices, prints graphics to customer expectations. Works with multiple departments to ensure customer expectations are met pertaining to color, overall appearance, size and resolution. Printers take a digital file and turn it into a physical print.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deciphers job requirements and expectations.
  • Determines material type and machine type that should be used for a specific job.
  • Loads machine with appropriate substrate.
  • Maintains print devices per a pre-determined maintenance schedule.
  • Checks printed graphics for quality.
  • Working with a pre-determined schedule, produces printed graphics on internal machinery.
  • Monitors, quality, machinery maintenance and inventory control. Adheres to strict Quality Standards and has a detailed understanding of print substrates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

CRITICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Must be able to see appropriate color and understand color balancing.
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of print fabrication and an overall understanding of the intended use and client expectations.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
