Supply Chain Lead - Solutions ajc

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop, build, and manage relationships with suppliers in the direct and indirect procurement space.

* Determine best sourcing and execute purchase orders to fulfill project needs.

* Monitor project milestones, hold supplier progress meetings, and expedite, as necessary.

* Hold suppliers and internal stakeholders accountable to project deliverables.

* Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers.

* Maintain data integrity for procurement activities.

* Analyze demand and recommend strategic purchases when beneficial.

* Recommend and lead improvements to optimize the overall process and drive greater efficiency.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates would have/be:

* Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years related experience purchasing technical products

* Demonstrated experience negotiating difficult issues while maintaining relationships.

* Proactively identifies and mitigates risks.

* Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project or SmartSheet, and ERP

* Analytical mind with business acumen

* Detail-oriented and organized

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Aviation and/or Aerospace Industry knowledge is preferred.
