The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary We are seeking a Technician B to provide general research support in translational research on the human microbiome, drug resistance and pathogenesis of bacterial infections. Responsibilities Conduct experiments, analyze results and maintain scientific records. Carry out standard procedures for protocols Perform microbiological and molecular biology techniques including DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR, library preparations, and whole genome sequencing under supervision. Maintain laboratory equipment, comply with laboratory safety regulations, and provide quality control. Performs other related duties necessary to the functioning of the laboratory and its research projects.
