Role Overview

The Vice President of Sales will play a critical leadership role in expanding the company's growth, driving strategic partnerships, and developing long-term business strategies that align with the company's vision and financial goals. This individual will lead the regional strategic sales team, identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as fostering relationships that drive new revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the appropriate region that aligns with Sirva's goals and objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with executive & senior leadership and other departments to align on business development efforts with company growth strategies.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring targets are met through effective target setting, forecasting, tracking, and execution.
  • Ensure the comprehensive use of Salesforce.com to track progress with opportunities.
  • Play a key role in leading & supporting negotiations with key opportunities.
  • Participate in the preparation of Best & Final presentations and attend as appropriate.
  • Have a personal sales target; being responsible for maintaining a limited prospect territory and securing sales directly.
  • Represent Sirva in industry forums, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that could impact the business.
  • Cultivate a results oriented and prospect focused team culture that emphasizes accountability, resilience, and adaptability. Regularly celebrate team wins, foster healthy competition, and encourage an entrepreneurial spirit within the team.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor sales performance and market trends.
  • Provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to the executive team to inform business decisions.
  • Drive a data-centric culture within the sales team, ensuring decisions are supported by relevant data and insights.



Education/Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related fields
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and securing high-impact partnerships.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate vision into actionable goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Data-driven decision-making with experience in CRM and business intelligence tools.

  • Strong network within the industry is highly desirable
