The Key Account Manager will be accountable for the strategy, development, and execution of 1-2 large, complex corporate customers across the North American region (NAM) including the full portfolio of product and service offerings for the Bently Nevada product line. This role works to develop long-term relationships with customers, manage complex issues and projects, analyze market trends, and be involved to bring life into the overall business strategy.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing strategy for your assigned key accounts across NAM region.
  • Being the main point of contact for customers and facilitating all relationships and engagements at the HQ facilities plus all other facilities in the region.
  • Leading customer engagements to promote Cordant solutions.
  • Leading overall commercial family (Sales Manager, Inside Sales, CCR, Services, Commops) for assigned Key Accounts.
  • Participating in Key Account Teams led by other Key Account Sales Manager that are responsible for region wide strategy for different Key Account customers and have sites in your geographic region that you are responsible to grow.
  • Supporting Enterprise Team in the corporate strategy for assigned accounts to drive growth.
  • Developing intimate knowledge of your assigned account's needs and goals in order to ensure that Bently Nevada products are an integral part of their ongoing business strategy and to identify new opportunities to provide Bently Nevada solutions to customer problems.
  • Establishing and growing long term relationships with assigned customers. Building relationships at all levels within the assigned customer's organization from the front-line user to the c-suite.
  • Leading and participating in cross functional teams and projects to achieve account and region goals.
  • Driving the development, planning, and execution of a regional strategy for corporate accounts and multiple customer sites resulting in growth and identification of product / service development opportunities.
  • Being responsible for the identification and growth of existing accounts through sale of full portfolio of hardware, software, and services.
  • Providing feedback to the product line team on customer wants and needs, new product / service needs, product modifications and help them develop sound business cases.
  • Facilitating engagement of customers through CAB / VOC / NPI feedback sessions.
  • Creating a value / consultative / outcome selling strategy through understanding of customers process and business model including associated key drivers.
  • Leading initiate partnerships with other Baker Hughes commercial teams to leverage customer relationships.
  • Interpreting and understanding contractual commitments.
  • Mentoring other Sales Managers to develop expertise / capabilities within the team.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Engineering Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales and commercial experience.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $113,100.00 - $211,500.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found here, and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
