The Dynata Account Management Director is primarily responsible for ensuring outstanding customer results in their day-to-day project-level needs. Moving beyond responsiveness, the Account Management Direcotr builds relationships, anticipates client needs and constantly seek to find creative solutions. The Account Manager is the front-line contact for our clients and has the responsibility to be able to understand the client need and coordinate the resouces to quickly and efficiently solve the client issues. The Account Management Director will also be charged with building a high-performance account management team comprised of both junior and senior account managers. ** In Depth Advertising and Media industry knowledge ** Specific responsibilities are:
- Day to day primary interface with customers
- Directly manage a set of accounts.
- Ensure team hits and exceeds bookings and revenue targets.
- Work with the BDMs to understand and implement the strategy and sales architect to develop and deliver proposals to customers
- Coordinate with delivery, BDMs and research teams to transition proposals to field projects.
- Be the primary contact between sales and research during the project while it is in progress and escalate issues as necessary to the BDM.
- Support BDMs in all aspects of their account strategy, interactions and sales efforts
- Aid in prospecting efforts by BDMs for new business
- Ensure projects are billed correctly and on schedule
- Coordinate with product team to ensure PLIs, contracts and sales documentation is accurate.

- Solicit new business from accounts not specifically assigned to BDMs and business from assigned accounts when interacting with them
- Create custom proposals as needed in support of BDM sales efforts as well as sales efforts direct to MRAs.
- Partner with ops and research leadership counterparts on process improvements.
- Lead a team of account managers and mentor them.

Key Experience Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- College degree required
- Direct experience managing clients in ad effectiveness space highly desired
- Direct experience working in the media space required
- Handles inbound calls from tier 1 clients and more challenging accounts
- Focus on learning MR if from outside the industry, systems and tools
- Involves sending out client proposal and pricing quotes.
- 2+ years managing a team of at least 2 junior people.
