WAGE SCALE: $20.00 - $24.00 SHIFT SCHEDULE: 1st\| 5 - 8 hour shifts \| OT as necessary POSITION OVERVIEW: We're looking for a hands on, reliable Shop Assistant to support our Waterjet team with day to day operations. This is a great entry level opportunity to gain manufacturing experience, learn machinery basics, and grow within a fast paced, high tech shop environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with equipment setup and workspace prep Operate basic machinery: horizontal saw, cutoff saw, disc grinder Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on waterjet machines Load/unload delivery trucks and shop scrap bins Support shipping, receiving, and general shop organization Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with quality standards TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Basic tool use (wrenches, pliers, etc.) Familiarity with materials (Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium) Understanding of shop math and measurements QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods WHY PROTOTEK?
