Job Summary:

Knife River is looking to add an Accounting Clerk to our team!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Post receipt of material into accounting system.

- Record consumption of material used at various ready-mix locations.

- Reconcile receipts and consumption with quantity on hand at month end.

- Communicate with operations regarding receipt of material and other related issues.

- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing and receipt issues.

- Provide assistance and analysis on special projects as needed.

- Always work safely and take action to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent with one to two years of experience in accounting/office administration/data entry
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel
- Must be able to work in a confidential environment, meet deadlines, prioritize work and be flexible to changing work priorities
- Ability to work well with others including vendors and company team members in a positive, professional manner

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervisory oversight while accomplishing targeted objectives
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen

Flexible scheduling options available but must be able to work overtime if necessary.

This is an in person full-time position in Central Point, OR.

Compensation is competitive and is dependent upon experience.
