The Role

The Director LTO Program role will beresponsible for managing internal stakeholder relationships, ensuring end-to-end program delivery of high impact & complex initiatives part of the LTO portfolio across Lumen's 5 pillars, such as product & ecosystem simplification, and leading cross-functional teams involved in the program under the Lumen LTO Agile operating model (e.g., Pods, Squads) while leveraging the rigor of the Lumen Project Management Framework implemented in Enterprise Operations.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and have a proven track record of delivering successful programs in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Work from Home position within the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

* Demonstrate Lumen's values, maintains a positive open demeanor, encourages different points of view, moves team forward through change
* Foster culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness in initiatives delivery, utilizing best practices and processes to improve competencies and develop people
* Acts as a critical advisor to the business unit leader and subsequent leadership team in progressing key objectives and identifying and solving challenges.
* Meet financial targets, manage and drive cost efficiencies.
* Structure key messages and create presentations by representing and
communicating the priorities of leadership across the entire organization to drive quicker decisions
* Program Management: Act as the primary point of contact for LTO leadership to ensure end-to-end program delivery, providing regular updates, addressing issues, and ensuring their satisfaction. Develop and maintain a detailed program plan, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies. Manage the change control process and implement approved changes to the program plan.
* Strategic Alignment: Ensure the alignment of the program objectives and deliverables with the Lumen 5 pillars and manage the change control process to implement approved changes to the program plan.
* Performance Monitoring and Risk Management: Monitor and report on the program performance, status, and progress, escalate issues as needed, and identify and
mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the program delivery. Ensure compliance with the company's policies, standards, and best practices.
* Implement Lumen Project Management Framework (LPMF) deployed
successfully in Enterprise Operations across the full portfolio of the LTO

What We Look For in a Candidate

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
* At least 10 years of experience in program management, preferably in the technology or telecommunications sector.
* Must have a certification in program management (ex. PMP, MSP, PgMP).
* Experience in managing large-scale, complex, and multi-disciplinary programs.
* Experience in working with stakeholders at various levels of seniority and across different functions.
* Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and
interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership, team building, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Ability to adapt to changing requirements and environments.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.

Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$149,084 - $198,779 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$156,539 - $208,718 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$163,993 - $218,657 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
