GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

* Oversee the port operations for Dole Purchasing and Dole Sales Team for issues related to damaged or missing inventory, railroad deliveries, and issues with loads scheduled.

* Provide operational oversight to third-party logistics and administrative partners responsible for managing paper workflows and demurrage tracking.

* Ensure alignment with corporate performance metrics and compliance standards pertaining to Rail Demurrage cost savings.

* Monitor, analyze, and proactively manage railcar dwell times and invoicing to minimize demurrage exposure.

* Implement best practices and utilized automated tools to increase visibility and accuracy in demurrage data capture.

* Drive continuous improvement of paper-based and digital documentation processes to streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and reduce financial liabilities.

Required Skills

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

* Strong knowledge of D365, EPort, IPOS, Tranship, and Third-Party Railcar websites.

* Strong knowledge of Port procedures.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Required Experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years of experience

AA Degree or bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience.
