*Job Description: Loan Closing Specialist*
*Position Overview:* The Loan Closing Specialist is responsible for managing the final stages of the loan process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete for a successful closing. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of mortgage regulations. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Prepare closing documents*: Ensure all necessary documents are ready for closing. * *Review loan files*: Verify accuracy and completeness of loan files. * *Coordinate with third parties*: Work with title companies, attorneys, and other parties involved in the closing process. * *Schedule closings*: Arrange and confirm closing dates with all parties. * *Conduct final reviews*: Perform final checks on documents and compliance with regulations. * *Resolve issues*: Address any discrepancies or issues that arise during the closing process. * *Communicate with clients*: Provide updates and guidance to clients throughout the closing process. * *Maintain records*: Keep detailed records of all closing activities and documentation. *Required Skills:* * *Attention to detail*: High level of accuracy in reviewing documents. * *Organizational skills*: Ability to manage multiple closings simultaneously. * *Communication skills*: Clear and effective communication with clients and third parties. * *Problem-solving*: Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. * *Knowledge of mortgage regulations*: Understanding of relevant laws and regulations. *Preferred Qualifications:* * *Experience in loan closing*: Previous experience in a similar role. * *Title process knowledge*: Familiarity with title procedures. * *TRID regulations*: Understanding of TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure regulations. *Education:* * *Bachelor's degree*: Preferred, or equivalent work experience. *Technical Skills:* * *Proficient in Microsoft Office*: Essential for daily tasks. * *Loan processing software*: Experience with relevant software tools. *Experience:* * *Financial services experience*: Preferred, especially in mortgages. * *Regulatory understanding*: Knowledge of relevant regulations. *Experience Level:* * *Mid-level*: Suitable for those with some experience in the field. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
