The SACM process covers service assets across the whole service lifecycle, provides a complete inventory of assets, and (in conjunction with CM) is responsible for their control. This includes full LCM of IT and service assets, from the point of planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance, through retirement or disposal.
- Ensure SACM process objectives are continually aligned to overall GCC operational requirements, including a review of the SACM documentation for updates and accuracy (historically twice a year).
