Moss-Magee Aria Bucks County Campus primary diagnoses include but are not limited to patients: with total hip or total knee replacements, amputees, cerebral vascular accidents, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions. In alignment with departmental and organizational mission and values, nursing care at Moss-Magee Rehab at Aria Health Bucks County Campus is an integral part of the interdisciplinary health care delivery model. Care is delivered incorporating the Watson Theory of Human Caring in to practice. It is the mission of Moss-Magee Rehab staff to maintain a progressive professional environment in order to provide skilled physical intervention and focused psychosocial support to patients. This is accomplished through a coordinated and collaborative approach to patient care, which includes interdisciplinary care, teaching and discharge planning to patients and their families.

Well known for its success treating spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, traumatic brain injury and related conditions, Moss-Magee Rehab sees nearly 2,800 inpatients and 190,000 outpatients yearly.

Schedules are available 6 weeks in advance. The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following:

• Must be able to work eight (8) hour shifts
• Must be able to work every third (3rd) weekend
• Holiday commitment consists of 1 holiday per season
  

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Unit Secretary will perform various clerical responsibilities on nursing units including:

• Provides support to the nurse manager with reports, data, and special assignments.
• Transcribes physician orders for medications, diets, treatments, etc.
• Coordinate errands as directed/necessary for the department
• Prepare, comply, and maintain patient records
  

To qualify as Unit Secretary, you must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six (6) months of clerical experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
