Senior Financial Analyst (Accounting Operations)

STS Aviation Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst - Accounting Operations to support enterprise-level finance initiatives and process improvements across our global organization. This full-time, hybrid-eligible role is based at our corporate headquarters in Jensen Beach, Florida.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in driving operational excellence across the Corporate Finance function. This position supports cross-functional initiatives, system enhancements, internal reporting, and accounting process optimization. • Provide analytical and project support for finance initiatives across corporate and business unit functions
  
• Design, document, and enhance accounting operations processes (e.g., reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets)
  
• Execute and support accounting system enhancements or ERP implementations
  
• Prepare executive-level summaries, reports, and financial packages
  
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as directed by the Corporate Controller, CFO, or senior finance leaders
  
• Collaborate with IT, FP&A, HR, and Tax teams on enterprise-wide initiatives
  
• Assist with audit processes, internal controls, and compliance documentation
  
• Support M&A efforts, including integration, policy alignment, and opening balance sheet setup
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)
  
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, public accounting, corporate finance, or financial operations
  
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting operations best practices
  
• ERP system experience required (Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
  
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI, SmartSheets, or Velixo a plus
  
• Proven ability to manage projects, document processes, and communicate across departments
  
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  

• Full-time, exempt position
  
• Hybrid or remote eligible (with occasional on-site work at HQ in Jensen Beach, Florida)
  
• No direct reports but may lead project-based initiatives
  
• Interaction with external consultants, auditors, and vendors may be required
