Position Summary

We are seeking a System Analyst - Risk Management Framework (RMF) with a working knowledge of computer workstations, hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity within the context of dynamic workplace environment. You will need the ability to administer, build, maintain, upgrade, patch and deploy computers and networks for testing in a testing environment. You will support Secure Video Teleconferencing capabilities and equipment accountability and upkeep. You will be responsible to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) actions and initiatives. You will draft, document, and implement appropriate system and network-level risk assessments, support mission-oriented risk assessments and deliver risk-based recommendations to the CIO and supporting staff that account for mission, budget and IA considerations. You must have a CompTIA certification in Security + and be able to obtain CompTIA certification in Server+ and Network+ within one year. You will work collaboratively as a member of a larger computer and network support team and is accountable to supervisory management for work performance.

This position is contingent upon contract funding.

What You'll Do

Your day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:



  • Build computer desktops/workstations/laptops with COTS approved products.
  • Install and configure appropriate software/hardware functions to meet system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain local networks (in main facility and in the field)
  • Ensure security of computer systems and networks by performing audits, scans, updates, and maintenance.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace hardware/software/components, debugging, etc).
  • Support and troubleshoot video conferencing equipment and SIPR.
  • Perform hardware, software maintenance or repairs as necessary to maintain system stability.
  • Apply operating system updates, patches and configuration changes.
  • Install and configure new hardware, storage, and software.
  • Add, remove, or update user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
  • Monitor services and operational health of servers and workstations.
  • Answer technical queries to assist users.
  • Document existing processes and implement process improvement.
  • Act as liaison between Trideum and managed service provider to define and solve problems.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or closely related field.
  • CompTIA certification: Security +.
  • Ability to obtain CompTIA certification in Server+ and Network+ within one year.
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including AD, O365, Teams, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Azure, and Intune.
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge and or previous experience with system administration in a Windows physical, virtual, and Azure cloud environment.
  • Able to demonstrate working knowledge of knowledge and or previous experience with PowerShell Scripting.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and solid organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Strong written and Oral communication skills.
  • System and network experience with Microsoft Windows, UNIX and Linux.
  • Experience with low-level networking constructs such routing protocols or network overlay implementations.
  • Experience with a variety of networking hardware vendors including but not limited to Netscaler, Radware and Cisco.
  • Able to diagnose and resolve issues within a test and live network quickly and thoroughly.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching concepts and technologies (OSPF, BGP, PIM, EIGRP).
  • An understanding of network management, network security, SNMP and Radius.
  • Possess the ability to complete and deliver required work, with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.


Desired Qualifications



  • Familiarity with VMware Vsphere / ESXi / Horizon / high availability
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Atlassian, etc
  • Familiarity with WDS, MDM, WSUS, ACAS,
  • SAN/NAS administration experience including data backup
  • Proficiency with common services such as DNS, DHCP, and LDAP
  • Additional IT certifications are desired
  • Expertise in Microsoft technologies and DoDI 8500.01 compliance. Knowledge concerning IC and DoD Directives
  • Knowledge concerning IC and DoD Directives (e.g., the IC Directive 503, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other associated IC and DoD Directives, Policies, and Standards that affect the RMF steps of categorization, selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and monitoring systems/networks).
