Job Description

Orders supplies from approved vendors to maintain appropriate supply on hand. Receives delivery of supplies and verifies deliveries are correct. Processes invoices for supplies for payment. Receives supply and service requests from employees as well as other Shared Services Department employees. Prepares supplies for delivery by Mail Services or Shared Service Clerk positions. Performs support responsibilities such as ensuring assigned facilities have adequate office and kitchen supplies, ensure drop in hotel workspaces are equipped and working properly, sort inbound mail and packages according to facility guidelines and other clerical duties and small projects, under general supervision.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

This job is considered "safety sensitive" as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.

Job Responsibilities

Performs the following support responsibilities in varied amounts:



  • Represent facilities department as the first line of interaction with employees, exhibiting polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Maintains control of consolidated supplies.
  • Orders additional supplies from approved vendors to maintain specified levels to meet employee needs.
  • Receives vendor deliveries and checks to ensure deliveries are correct.
  • Processes vendor invoices for payment.
  • Receives service and supply requests from employees and Shared Services Clerks and prepares services and supplies for delivery.
  • Maintains office and kitchen supplies at specified levels for multiple buildings.
  • Delivers office and kitchen supplies as well as mail and packages to interoffice locations using company vehicle.
  • Receives requests for office supplies from internal employees and fulfills the request from consolidated supplies.
  • Checks the drop in hotel workspaces at assigned facilities for proper function and necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Sorts and delivers interoffice and USPS mail and packages per guidelines of facility.
  • Lifts packages/boxes up to 50 lbs. and drives up to 300 miles per day.
  • Operates office equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Manage small projects as needed to support general office and employee needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of office experience.
  • Effective communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift 35+ pounds repetitively up to an occasional 50.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
  • Experience with computers, photocopiers and other standard office machines.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to drive/sit for long periods of time in a vehicle.
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous clerical and/or mail services experience.
  • Previous experience with employee service and supply requests.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Previous experience using SAP and/or Ariba.

The pay range for this position is$51,400.00-$79,800.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
