This position requires a deep understanding of configuration management processes, data integrity, and military systems, with a focus on supporting international clients under FMS contracts. The Configuration/Data Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the program's success by managing data and configuration changes efficiently, minimizing risks, and facilitating smooth communication between all parties involved.

Responsibilities

Oversee configuration management processes for the ISR program, ensuring all technical documents, designs, and systems meet applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMP) and Data Management Plans (DMP) for the program, in alignment with contractual requirements and FMS protocols.
  • Ensure the accurate and complete identification of items under configuration control, including complete and comprehensive product definition and product operational information.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and track configuration changes to ensure all system updates, modifications, and enhancements are properly documented, implemented, and controlled.
  • Maintain accurate records of all technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, specifications, and data sheets for ISR systems, in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, operations, and program management teams to ensure timely approval and release of configuration-controlled items.
  • Support the preparation and submission of data deliverables for FMS, ensuring compliance with international regulations and the client's specific requirements.
  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments of configuration management and data control processes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all configuration and data management-related inquiries within the ISR program.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, status updates, and presentations related to configuration/data management for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide training and guidance on configuration management principles to junior staff and other program team members.

Required Qualifications
