The Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) is the organization within Hallmark Technology that is responsible for: Building a world-class, consumer-focused caring platform that enables Hallmark's lines of business (LOB) across the enterprise (Crayola, Hallmark Media, Hallmark Global) to accelerate their direct-to-consumer product strategies. Developing a Cloud-first, multi-tenant digital platform that provides capabilities and services, such as a unified Hallmark Profile, Product Recommendations, Global Payment services, etc. Building, securing, and operating digital consumer products for Hallmark's LOBs Scaling development capabilities to build for Hallmark's future As a member of the DCOE group you'll partner with high functioning, high energy teams of cross-functional disciplines that bring products like Hallmark.com and our Hallmark Gold Crown Omnichannel network to life for our consumers. With a consumer-first focus this group delivers impactful digital solutions that have a direct impact on consumer brand engagement and retention in the digital space, which results in revenue growth and brand relevance.
WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
The Lead Solutions Architect (LSA) provides real solutions against our digital strategies. The LSA works directly with Product and Delivery Managers to architect and orchestrate building highly scalable and performant applications. They bring strong leadership and development skills including facilitating change, driving design excellence, code quality standards and striving for continuous improvement. The LSA will be influential in the overarching technology choices for the program and be a guardian of a world-class customer experience. With a focus on the consumer, help Hallmark understand best practices around advanced hybrid / cloud-based solutions. The LSA will lead in shaping and executing strategies to build mindshare and broad use of continuous integration, deployment, and process automation within Hallmark Digital organization. Lead SAs are forward thinking and looks to improve the future of our digital practice and bringing innovations. LSAs are constantly reviewing new product enhancements of existing platforms and exploring new products which can improve technology through cost savings and optimizing our practice.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure success in building and migrating software and services from existing solutions into scalable, resilient, efficient, and secure solutions.
- Lead application architect consultant on development projects; and assistance with solution deployments. Actively seek ways to build, challenge, and add value within scope of assignments.
- Conduct in depth assessments and documentation of current workflow, processes, and system configurations.
- Act as a technical liaison among product, delivery and specialized technical teams.
- Act as a release manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments.
- Hone and develop technical skills to impactfully contribute to deep architecture discussions and take part in deep-dive education and design to create world-class solutions.
Successful individuals in this role will be self-motivated with a proven track record in application/technology migrations. *They'll also have a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions - with work experience as a principal developer or architect on a service cloud platform.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The following is required to be considered for this role:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional work experience
- At least 6 years' experience as a solutions architect, including analysis, design, and development experience
- At least 5 years' experience building solutions in Salesforce service cloud, AWS Connect, or an equivalent cloud platform
- At least 3 years' experience working with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools
- At least 2 years' experience working with Telephony systems integrations.
- Experience with consumer service-oriented case management, knowledge base and Omnichannel.
- Experience with end-to-end IT software and systems solution delivery from idea conception, design, development and transition into production operations and maintenance
- Held a prior role with responsibility for high scalable/available systems architecture, security, and systems support in a heterogeneous infrastructure environment
- Experience mentoring and developing technology team members
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Your resume will stand out if you have:
- BS in Computer Science or related technology or technical fields, or 6 years equivalent experience
- Expertise with application architecture strategy, governance, compliance, development, and execution
- Experience working with API management solutions
- Knowledge of service cloud analytics and reporting tools
- Familiar with SQL or SOQL
- Familiar with consumer and client facing AI integrations and tools for service clouds
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Gitlab, Gearset, Copado, etc.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience working with internal business partner and offshore teams
