JOB TITLE: Senior iOS Engineer (Reference DK0517 when applying) JOB DUTIES: Contribute to the migration of legacy cross-platform codebase to modern SwiftUI frameworks, ensuring code maintainability and improving app performance. Develop and enhance mobile application architecture, utilizing reactive programming (Combine) and modern Swift concurrency features. Work with UI and state management, improving navigation flows and ensuring seamless user experience across devices. Manage third-party dependencies and maintain package managers (e.g., Swift Package Manager) to streamline development workflows. Knowledge of authentication SDKs, Implementing secure OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols to ensure scalable user authentication and authorization across the application. Experience utilizing UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, and flowcharts to ensure clear communication across teams. Contribute to system-level design decisions and maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle. Sense of ownership of features from ideation to deployment, including debugging, code reviews, performance tuning and battery optimization. Experience implementing secure session management, role-based access control (RBAC), and managing authentication states across multiple user contexts. Design and maintain comprehensive unit testing using XCTest and apply test-driven development (TDD) methodologies to ensure high code quality. Incorporates test specific strategy early and thinks ahead. Completes unit and integration tests on more complex code. Analyses risk to choose what tests to write. Automates system-level functionality and creates own mocks. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools, including proficiency in setting up automated unit testing environments and utilizing static code analysis tools like SonarQube to ensure code quality. Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence for agile development workflows, design and visualization platforms like Lucidchart, Miro, and Figma for architectural and UI/UX planning. Mentorship of junior engineers in such areas as: how to write designs, submitting code suitable for review, performing code reviews, following the etiquette of code reviews, giving and receiving feedback. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the offered position or related position.
