NRI is looking for a motivated and creative Communications Management Intern to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a 3-4-year college student who wants experience in corporate internal communications, HR support, and employee engagement. You'll help us keep our team members informed, connected, and inspired-while building your professional skills in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The Communications Intern will work closely with our HR and Communications teams to support day to day communications across the company.
The NRI Communications Management Intern is a passionate storyteller that will help develop and manage communications that engage NRI team members. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer seeking experience in corporate communications and is organized and creative.

What you'll do...
  • Writing and editing internal emails, newsletters, and employee features
  • Helping keep our company intranet and internal social channels updated with engaging content
  • Assisting with company events, employee campaigns, and HR program communications
  • Creating graphics and visuals using templates (Canva, SharePoint, Appspace, and similar tools)
  • Helping gather feedback from employees (surveys, polls, etc.)
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and offering ideas to boost employee engagement
  • Keeping track of communications calendars and helping with scheduling and coordination
Who you are...
  • A third or fourth year college student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Public Relations, or Journalism
  • A strong writer with a friendly, clear, and engaging style
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance multiple tasks
  • Eager to learn and contribute in a collaborative, team-based setting
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Bonus if you've used SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud or other basic web design and graphic design tools
  • Curious about how internal communications can shape culture, drive connection, and support people at work
