Job Description

General Purpose of Job:

To construct, install, and maintain casework, furniture and building related components such as, but not limited to: walls, ceilings, door assemblies, hardware, and other finishes.

Essential Duties:

Works in fabrication shop providing cost estimates, design, construction, and installation of casework.
Work on capitalized construction projects in all aspects of carpentry field including, but not limited to: framing, drywall installation/finish, & ceiling finishes.
Maintain and service casework, furniture & fixtures.
Install and maintain door frames, doors, and hardware.
Completes work orders, as required, and maintains safe and orderly shop/work area.
Provides locksmith responsibilities, maintains key inventory.
Maintains fire walls & fire doors.
Participated in On-Call Program for trade, when needed.

Job Requirements

General Requirements	* Valid Driver's License * Preferred- Journeyman card in carpentry.
Work Experience	* See education section
Education	* High School Diploma or GED. * Successful completion of trade school with a minimum of 4 years of experience or have a journeyman card in carpentry or 6 years construction related experience in lieu of trade school education.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills	* Proven experience in casework design, estimating, and construction techniques and blueprint reading.
