Engineering Technician IV

The Engineering Technician IV will provide assessments of Radar, Sonar, Navigation, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems and components on board legacy USCG 378' High Endurance Cutters.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uses technical knowledge and experience to perform assessments of various Radar systems, communication systems, navigation and command control systems.
• Assist in assessments of combat electronic systems, to include MK-92 and MK-75 weapon systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years' general experience in their respective trade and at least 3 consecutive years of experience serving as the supporting Electronics Technician onboard US Coast Guard 378' High Endurance Cutters.
• Comprehension & application of technical documentation - Manuals & drawings.
• Knowledge of proper use of diagnostic equipment.
• Possess basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Possess effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible.
• Must be able to travel OCONUS

SECURITY REQUIREMENS:

• Ability to pass a standard Background check.
• Must possess a U.S. Passport.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel requirement is 100%
• Travel will be required within and outside of the continental United States

Hourly Rate: $32 - $34
