Overview:

Integrity Management Consulting, Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Mid-Level IT Business Analyst / Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the key facilitator for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices to drive efficient, collaborative, and high-performing team dynamics. The ideal candidate possesses deep experience in Agile frameworks, has excellent communication skills, and excels in cross-functional settings.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the primary Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring the team's adherence to Agile processes, including Scrum and Kanban, and applying the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) where appropriate.
  • Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring a focus on continuous improvement and high-performance delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, facilitating conflict resolution, and encouraging open communication both within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to keep the product backlog well-groomed, prioritized, and transparent to all stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in Agile best practices, ensuring understanding and adoption of the Agile mindset.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate team metrics and progress to stakeholders using Agile metrics and reporting tools.
  • Guide the team in identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools, and work products.
  • Utilize Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar, and demonstrate familiarity with modern software development tools and environments.


Required Qualifications and Experience:



  • Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Proven ability to facilitate Scrum events and coach/mentor Agile teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and removing team impediments to maintain high productivity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven record of facilitating effective collaboration and conflict resolution across diverse teams.
  • Experience working closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and value delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement in an Agile team environment.
  • Proficiency using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent project management systems.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and practices.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Lean or other Agile frameworks in addition to Scrum and SAFe.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Agile transformations or distributed/remote Agile teams.
  • Advanced Agile certifications, such as Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).


Education & Certification:



  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience
  • Certification as a Scrum Master required (Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent).
  • Advanced certifications preferred (e.g., A-CSM, CSP).


Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain a Public Trust suitability issued by the Federal Government
