Operations Financial Analyst - Costing

As the Operations Finance Analyst - Costing, you will play a key role in Finance, developing and reporting accurate product costs and performing detailed variance analysis. You will work closely with Marketing, Innovation, Operations, Supply Chain, and other Finance partners to ensure the integrity of our product cost data for existing and innovative products. If you are highly analytical, detail oriented, and comfortable working with lots of data, this is a great position for you!

What you will be doing...

• Work closely with the Innovation and Marketing teams on developing cost models and profitability of new products
• Provide accurate standard product cost and margin reporting
• Daily costing activities including validation of costing assumptions and standard cost roll for new items
• Ensuring product costing is consistent between our three manufacturing plants and 3PLs
• Support various other Operations Finance team duties such as corporate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, CapEx, etc.
• Annual comprehensive standard cost updates within the company's ERP system including material prices, labor and overhead rates; in conjunction with the annual budgeting process
• Manage annual intercompany transfer pricing process

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar degree
• 1+ year finance or accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Thorough attention to detail & accuracy
• Strong team player with positive attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

(Preferred Qualifications)

• 3+ years finance/cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard costing concepts and variance analysis
• Strong ERP/systems skills, preferably SAP
• Advanced data analytics skills
• Strong drive, resilience, and passion to deliver results
• Ability to influence
