Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Analyst I to support logistics and supply chain operations for our client. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in logistics who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic government contracting environment.
The Logistics Analyst I will support a wide range of daily operational and administrative functions related to inventory, material handling, order processing, data entry, and customer service. This role is hands-on, requiring attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to follow established processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist with day-to-day store operations including receiving, processing, and issuing materials.
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Process and track requisitions, orders, product returns, and corrections in GSA's POS and OMS systems.
  • Provide professional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Conduct data entry and file management (manual and electronic).
  • Support inventory control, order fulfillment, product placement, and stock audits.
  • Scan and process materials, validate order accuracy, and support price and product challenges.
  • Assist with generating reports (sales, inventory, transaction history) as needed.
  • Comply with GSA's standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and processing guides.
  • Collaborate with vendors and customers for order status updates, inquiries, and issue resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and the ability to type 40 wpm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
