Job Description

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the Visa Account Updater Suite and PAN & Credential Lifecycle Management across Visa.

  • Align product strategies with Visa's overall business objectives, ensuring innovative and competitive offerings in the market.

Product Development and Management:

  • Oversee the management of the Visa Account Updater Suite, ensuring seamless updates and enhancements.

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of primary account numbers (PAN) and credential solutions, ensuring security, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, sales, and marketing, to drive product development and execution.

  • Enhance existing offerings and build new products that enhance the ease of use, adoption, and data quality

Innovation and Market Analysis:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in payment solutions, particularly in account updater and credential lifecycle management and how they impact trends in eComm

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement of existing products, ensuring Visa remains at the forefront of the digital payment landscape.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline all credential management within Visa products and services

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring product offerings meet or exceed expectations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and product management excellence.

  • Ensure team objectives are aligned with Visa's strategic goals and drive accountability for delivering results.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure all product offerings comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of security and integrity.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and lifecycle management.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Requires 12+ years of relevant experience in product management and product strategy, experience in payments a must
  • Incredibly proactive and self starter - must drive your own roadmap
  • Demonstrated cross-functional experience in large matrix organizations
  • Able to tackle shifting priorities at high speeds
  • Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex product portfolios and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with complex technical systems, APIs, and issuer and merchant systems.

We require candidates to adhere to Visa's hybrid in-office policy and in an office 3 days a week. Preferred location is Bay Area, with flexibility for other Visa - US based offices.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 213,000.00 to 332,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
