Position Title: Lactose Bagger Wage: $20.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 10:00am - 9:00pm (Start Time May Vary Between 10am-2pm) Do you want to be part of a cheese factory in Mosinee, WI that keeps Wisconsin farmers in business? Lactose Bagger Responsibilities: - Monitor and control production machinery - Monitor and use "Clean in Place" procedures on product machinery and tools - Use hands and arms for scooping and shoveling cheese curds in large bins - Take samples of product for lab testing - Maintain appropriate production records - Fill out proper documentation in accordance to customer specification and government agencies - Aid other employees to maintain a safe process and quality product - Maintain clean work environment - Operate within HACCP guidelines to ensure safe, quality product - Operate and set up bagging machine to bag and seal 37lbs-42lbs block cheese - Perform quality and seal check Requirements for Lactose Bagger: - Previous experience in a manufacturing position - High School Diploma or equivalent - Ability to stand for entire shift 8-10 hours a day - Ability to work around caustic chemicals (anhydrous ammonia) and acid wash - Ability to lift up to 50lbs rarely from the ground and 20lbs occasionally - Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - Ability to work in warm/hot environment - Ability to work overtime and Saturdays - Ability to report to work on time when scheduled wausau@qpsemployment.com IND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
