Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Woonsocket, RI. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Tank Operator is responsible for efficiently and accurately conducting tank operation duties to process parts as per company or customer requirements.
  • The Tank Operator must ensure understanding of all work instructions and can fulfill all job requirements.
  • Runs parts through various wet chemistry tanks per specified process steps.
  • Reports any discrepancy to the designated Production Manager, QC Inspector and Racker.
  • Verifies paperwork is accurate and previous process steps are completed before anodizing.
  • Ensures the transposed job number (tape label ID) is accurate and attached the corresponding rack(s).
  • Keeps accurate records of tank line reference information, which includes temperature, amps, volts, comments, and date/initials.
  • Verify all pre-anodize, anodize, and post steps are performed in good standing, including all required double rinse steps preceding each step in the operation.
  • Inspects each run step-by-step for visual imperfections, color variations, non-uniformities, and irregularities.
  • Reports all masking integrity, uniform chromate, and coating thickness deviations prior to sealingthe parts.
  • Verifies parts for any discrepancies and piece counts prior to authorizing the release of the rack from the line, upon load completion.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
  • Take part in all required training sessions related but not limited to Quality Assurance, Lean Manufacturing Process, and EHS programs.
  • Participate in periodic testing and performance evaluations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Documents to include written work instructions schematic/assembly drawings, standard operating and maintenance procedures.

Pay: $16.50 / hr.

Hours: M-F 6:30AM-3:00PM **Onsite

Length: Temp to Direct

Job Requirements

  • The employee is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit, stoop and crouch. Requires mental and visual attention to detail as well as hand coordination.
  • Occasionally lifting or moving average weight material.
  • The flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination or part-time normal and part-time concentrated attention and coordination.
